Hope Writer Day!!!

I am a Hope*Writer. I joined Hope Writers in January of 2021 and it has been one of the greatest supports in my journey of becoming a writer. I would one day love to be able to make a living with my words, and if I want to reach that goal, then I need to surround myself with people going in the same direction. This is what Hope*Writers has done for me.

In this community fo writers, I have received amazing teachings, and gotten more book recommendations then I can count. I am surrounding myself with the culture of publishing and learning all the things necessary to be successful in my writing. I have noticed I am now treating my writing time, like I would anything important to me, it goes on the schedule and it is not an appointment to be missed. It is a job, and I need to treat it as one.

Hope is my word for 2021, and it was actually given to me before the year began. I also wrote my senior paper on Hope which you can read for yourself here if you are into the nerdy research stuff like me. Hope is all I have to hold on to right now, and guess what, it is enough. I can trust that God is faithful to his promises even if I can't see him working right now. Hope means that I continue to believe and trust that everything is being worked out for my good. Having hope, means I need to share what I hope I have, and how I got it, with those around me. I do this through writing and speaking about the miracles that occur in my daily life and the insights I gain from studying the word of God.

All that to say, Hope*Writers is where I find the support I need, the information to help me on my path, and the amazing encouragement that I am doing important work even when I don't feel like it. I am so thankful and blessed to be part of this community.
